| Turvatiimi Ltd to externalize their financial administration to Clarus Ltd | Dec 5, 2006 Turvatiimi Ltd has signed an outsourcing contract with Clarus Ltd regarding the company's financial administration. The agreement covers all the basic financial processes and basic financial reporting of Turvatiimi Ltd. The size of the outsourcing contract is considerable. Markku Valpas, Financial and Administrative Director at Turvatiimi Ltd, views the recent outsourcing contract with Clarus Ltd as a significant step towards efficient and business-oriented financial functions. "Our financial administration has produced great results with scarce resources. With the current model, however, we could not have addressed the needs of financial control without making sizeable investments", says Valpas. "Today, precise customer-related, product-related, and regional information and analyses are required for the needs of business management. With Clarus by our side, we will quickly reach the best practices in financial administration that best suit our needs", he continues. According to Clarus director Arto Nimander, the outsourcing contract is notable for both companies. "We have obtained several good customers this year. What makes me especially happy, though, is the fact that we won this particular competition, where the customer emphasizes the business-oriented approach to financial activities; besides traditional ideas on efficiency", Nimander points out.
