Clarus Ltd was chosen as the first-ever Nordic member into The International Accounting Group (TIAG). The group has about 70 members in over 40 different countries. In addition to financial administration services, its sister organization, TagLaw, provides judicial guidance all over the world. The sister organization has one Finnish member: Krogerus Attorneys Ltd.
Clarus was admitted as a member following an eventful application process. In the last stages, the TIAG founder and President Peter Appleton Jones visited Finland to meet with the Clarus management and to evaluate Clarus's competences and eligibility for membership. According to Jones, it is essential that TIAG should also cover Finland – the country viewed in the U.S. as the promised land of technology. Appleton Jones met and interviewed the company's management and became convinced of the Clarus values. He attests that customer orientation is the only way to attain expansion and profitability. "Growth is not an option, it is a prerequisite in today's world that is becoming ever-increasingly international", he described. "And growth can only be gained through customer orientation, quality of service, and the right personnel", he went on.
"Our values are very similar. Whenever possible, the customer's expectations must be exceeded. All actions stem from understanding the customer's business and providing added value to further advance the customer's success", explains Arto Nimander. "Through an international organization we can even more effectively service the Finnish companies that are already international or getting there. We expect great things from the TIAG membership", Nimander continues.
